The Mirus Academy in Bloxwich Walsall provides progressive education for children from the ages of 3-18. Specialising in creative industries the academy looks to inspire and engage its pupils to develop key life skills and excellent personal qualities.
During a recent services refurbishment an ETHOS 70kW wall mounted condensing boiler was proposed and installed by West Midlands mechanical contractor A J Hill Plumbing & Heating. In addition the new installation incorporated a Mikrovent 80 low loss header/air and dirt separator, a direct type Mikrofill 105 pressurisation package and various ancillaries.
Vertically flued, the stainless steel boiler with a seasonal efficiency in excess of 96% and Nox levels of 33mg/kw provides LPHW to around 30 radiators. The newly renovated area will benefit from the boilers 10 > 1 turn down ratio and guarantee unsurpassed load matching.
