Our Lady’s is a small Catholic School located in Alcester, Warwickshire that strives to create a caring environment in which children and staff work together to make the school the best it can be.
In 2016 the decision was taken by Warwickshire County Council to renew the aged existing boiler and HWS generation plant. Mikrofill supplied 2 x ETHOS 90kW stainless steel wall mounted condensing boilers with ancillaries, a pressurisation package and an unvented EXTREME HWS loading cylinder.
Installed by well-established mechanical contractor Dodd Group, the new boilers modulate from 180 > 9kW and deliver a seasonal efficiency in excess 96%. The EXTREME HWS loading cylinder ensures optimum condensing efficiency is maximised through its integral PHE which is designed to operate at a primary Δt of 30°C. In addition the cylinder ensures 100% of its secondary storage capacity achieves its 60°C target temperature.
