St Marks C of E Primary School in Brierley Hill is a friendly and welcoming school with caring and supportive staff that continuously strives to improve the quality of education that they provide for the children.

Following a dilapidation survey and redesign by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, the decision was made to upgrade the inefficient LPHW plant. Installed by long standing mechanical contractor, Lord Combustion Services Ltd, the equipment selected included 3 x Ethos 110 kW condensing boilers on floor standing frames coupled with a Mikrovent 400 low loss header and air/dirt separator.

The stainless steel boilers c/w integral ‘shunt pumps’ provide LPHW to the schools variable temperature heating circuit. In addition the new plant is unvented via a pre–commissioned Mikrofill 400 pressurisation package that incorporates integral fluid risk category 4 backflow protection as per requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
