Job Definition
We are currently recruiting for a confident and self-motivated Sales Order Planner to work in our Henley office on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a customer service role and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst dealing with pressure efficiently and providing high levels of customer service at all times.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Processing customer orders using internal system
- Managing customer telephone enquires such as, price and availability and progressing orders
- Liaising with Sales Reps, Customers, and other Departments to ensure the customer is put first
- Responding to email enquiries
- Quoting customers
- Resolving Invoice Queries
- Liaising with Transport companies to resolve delivery issues
- Build relationships with Key Customers
- Manage end of month processes alongside Accounts and Logistics
Person Specification
- You will be a conscientious person with the ability to work well as part of a Team
- Well organised with the ability to manage your workload efficiently
- Strong telephone skills, e.g., confident when talking to customers about a variety of enquiries
- Excellent IT skills e.g., Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal IT systems quickly
- Good English and Maths skills
- High attention to detail
- Previous experience in an office-based role
Normal working hours will apply, however at this job level we will require flexibility to complete tasks when the role demands.
