Completed in 2015 The Westgate is recognised as the first “Super School” in Hampshire catering for children from the ages of 4 – 16. With a thriving learning community Westgate is a happy school where students and teachers enjoy working together. Supporting the daily curriculum is a comprehensive enrichment programme where students are able to attend a wide range of field trips, educational visits and after school clubs.
Under the watchful eye of Hampshire County Council, recognised services contractor ARB Mechanical Engineering Ltd installed numerous Ethos wall mounted 90 and 110kW condensing boilers. The stainless steel boilers with a turn down ratio of 10 > 1 and a seasonal efficiency in excess of 95% provide LPHW to radiator and UFH circuits aswell as indirect primary to a HWS cylinder.
The new build included 14 classrooms, an ICT learning resource centre, food tech area and administration offices for use by the pupils and the wider community.
