Building Information Modelling (BIM) is used in pre-construction and construction phases, revolutionising how buildings are designed, constructed and maintained. BIM requires that all building elements are available in digital format so they can be easily downloaded and used to generate the BIM model.
BIM content not only represents the physical product, but also includes other essential data such as product information, installation and data sheets, energy details and eco credentials.
