WENLOCK HAS A NEW ETHOS

Due to the demise of the existing heating plant, Wenlock C of E Junior School in Luton, Bedfordshire is now benefitting from the installation of new fuel efficient boilers.

Coupled to a “Mikrovent” (low loss header/air dirt separator) 2No Mikrofill Ethos 130kw wall mounted condensing boilers, c/w integral shunt pumps now provide heating throughout the school. Designed and manufactured in the UK with an unsurpassed modulation of 7 > 1 (260 > 18kw) the stainless steel boilers utilise existing plantroom space being suspended on purpose built frames.

The new system was designed by Milton Keynes based building services consultant VSRW and installed by established mechanical contractor HeatTreat of Dunstable.

Once linked to the existing heating circuit the entire system was sealed using a Mikrofill 400 pressurisation package incorporating the patented “EFD” (electronic filling device).
